Getting up on a raining morning is possibly one of the hardest things to do so what better then, but to ensure you walk out your door with a smile on your face every morning without having to look like your daughter’s seventh birthday party clown.
You don’t need to have a complete overhaul of your wardrobe; you just need to know about what colors can brighten up the drabbest of outfits and the dreariest of days. It is always best to first of all think about what are the main colors you have in your wardrobe. When it comes to picking out your tie and you are unsure about what colors to go for don’t be afraid to ask a stylist for advice. They are usually available for consultations and most reputable suit stores or tailors and they can offer you guidance when you want to spice up your wardrobe. Deep purples, blues and even deep pinks are great colors providing you know how to combine them with your suit.
In addition to your tie you can put an extra spring in your step by wearing cufflinks, they look fantastic with a great tie and a smart fitting waistcoat. There are waistcoats that you can get hold of that are colorfully designed and flatteringly cut. Cufflinks are available in different designs including polished metals and themed designs.
Make sure that you have a French cuff sleeved shirt and you are well on your way to brightening up your office. If you want to wear themed cufflinks displaying that you are a movie fan or similar this will open up the opportunity for a great conversation starter. There are also colored silk button style cufflinks that you can wear but these are usually reserved for more formal occasions including weddings.
Don’t be afraid of putting a little bit of color into your outfit, you will be surprised at how much it brightens up not only your life but those that are around you. Be careful not to go on color overload a pay attention to color details instead. You can have a little more fun with smart casual outfits incorporating kitsch cufflinks that carry your favorite movie stars or cartoon characters. You can even use your own initiative put together some fun photos and get them printed on your umbrella! Put in that little bit of extra effort and you will never have another rainy day.
